ReliporeXtreme uses an advanced wound contact layer that  encourages fluid to pass from the surface through to the absorbent layer, but  helps prevent it striking back through using hexagonal shaped  pores that have a burr on the underside of the layer. The layer is constructed from a nylon polymer that is designed not to stick to a wound site.The ReliporeXtreme dressing has the wound contact layer on one side -  and on the other - a flexible, breathable adherent, stretch fabric that conforms to the body, is easy to remove, but remains securely in place once applied.
